A New Look for a New Year

About Me

A New Look for a New Year

Seven months ago, my sister married the love of her life in an intimate, church ceremony. I was so excited when she asked me to be the matron of honor at her wedding. Because I wanted to wear my hair in an elegant French twist at the wedding, I didn’t cut it during the first half of last year. After the wedding, I planned to cut my hair in my usual bob style. However, after receiving many compliments for my longer hair, I decided to let it continue to grow out. I’m not sure what I want to do with my hair for the New Year. However, I know I want to continue experimenting with new, exciting looks. On this blog, I hope you will discover the best hair trends for the upcoming year. Enjoy!

How To Transform Your Small Yard Into An Oasis

If you have a long skinny yard that you feel like you don't know what to do with but you are sick of it just sitting there without you being able to use it, then this article is for you. This article will list a few creative things that you can do to turn your skinny yard from drab into an entire oasis. Read on to learn a few hopefully inspiring ideas.

Hot Tub Swim Spa

Unlike a regular spa or hot tub that's a square, hot tub swim spas are a combined hot tub and lap pool that you can use to either soak in or workout it. The great thing about a hot tub swim spa is that since they don't require that much room and since they are above ground, they will fit in your yard without you having to dig a hole.

Dining Area

If you like hosting dinner parties or weekend brunches, then you may want a place outdoors where you can throw parties with people. If you want to transform your yard into a place to eat outdoors, then consider laying pee gravel and then placing a long, skinny, wooden table and chairs all around. Then, if you want, you can also hang some string lights outdoors to create a more elegant atmosphere. The great thing about hosting parties outside is that you don't have to worry about all of the cleanup involved on the inside.

Vegetable Garden

If you like to cook all of the time, then you may want to plant a vegetable garden where you can plant your own produce. A long, skinny yard will give you plenty of room to grown the proper crops you need for just about every season. When planting crops, make sure that you have nutrient dense soil so that your vegetables can really thrive and grow as well as possible.

Having a small skinny yard doesn't mean that it has to be a complete waste of space that you never use. Consider using one of these three ideas to really make good use of the space that you have out back. Remember that having a small space doesn't mean that you can't do anything with it. To learn more about all of these options, contact a company that specializes in spas, landscaping, or gardening to learn all about all of the options that you have.
