A New Look for a New Year

About Me

A New Look for a New Year

Seven months ago, my sister married the love of her life in an intimate, church ceremony. I was so excited when she asked me to be the matron of honor at her wedding. Because I wanted to wear my hair in an elegant French twist at the wedding, I didn’t cut it during the first half of last year. After the wedding, I planned to cut my hair in my usual bob style. However, after receiving many compliments for my longer hair, I decided to let it continue to grow out. I’m not sure what I want to do with my hair for the New Year. However, I know I want to continue experimenting with new, exciting looks. On this blog, I hope you will discover the best hair trends for the upcoming year. Enjoy!

Debunking 3 Myths About A Brazilian Wax

Waxing is a great way to remove unwanted hair in an efficient and effective manner. Waxing is common for the lip and eyebrows, but it can also be a great way to remove unwanted hair from the bikini area. If you are considering a Brazilian wax, which is the removal of all hair in and around the bikini and genital area, you may be curious about a few myths. This guide will help debunk a few common myths regarding a Brazilian wax.

Technicians Will Judge Your Bikini Area

One reason many people avoid Brazilian waxes is because they worry what the technicians will think or say about their bikini areas. It is important to remember that they will not judge the look or condition of your bikini area even if it is excessively hairy.

Also, remember that technicians work with multiple clients over a long period of time, so they have seen many types of bikini areas—just like gynecologists have seen multiple patients with many different styles and conditions of bikini and genital areas.

Do not feel ashamed or embarrassed because the waxing technicians are there to help, not judge, you.

It's Only for Women

Another myth many people believe is that Brazilian waxes are only for women. In reality, men can also undergo this waxing treatment.

Men do have hair in their pubic regions, which they may want to remove for one reason or another. A Brazilian wax not only removes the hair from around the genital area, but it can also remove the unwanted hair that has spread from the genital to anal area, creating a clean, smooth, and streamlined look and feel.

It's Incredibly Painful

Finally, you may not even consider the Brazilian wax because you are worried it will be too painful. There will be some slight discomfort as the waxing strips are removed from the skin. However, the pain does not last.

The right techniques and the right technician will ensure the treatment is not as painful as you may think. The key is to relax and stay calm, since stressing will cause you tense up, making the experience even more uncomfortable and time-consuming.

Help is available if you are ready to remove the unwanted hair from your bikini area, improving your appearance and self-esteem. With this guide, you will understand the truth about a few common myths that are making you avoid this beneficial treatment. For more information, contact salons that offer Brazilian waxing.
