A New Look for a New Year

About Me

A New Look for a New Year

Seven months ago, my sister married the love of her life in an intimate, church ceremony. I was so excited when she asked me to be the matron of honor at her wedding. Because I wanted to wear my hair in an elegant French twist at the wedding, I didn’t cut it during the first half of last year. After the wedding, I planned to cut my hair in my usual bob style. However, after receiving many compliments for my longer hair, I decided to let it continue to grow out. I’m not sure what I want to do with my hair for the New Year. However, I know I want to continue experimenting with new, exciting looks. On this blog, I hope you will discover the best hair trends for the upcoming year. Enjoy!

The Perfect Hair Color Combo: Finding Your Perfect Shade

If you're looking to make a statement with your hair color, there are endless options available to you. Whether you're aiming for something natural or something bold and daring, combining colors can help create a unique look that will have everyone turning heads.

Below are a few hair color combinations to get you started on your journey to finding the perfect shade.

Deep Brown and Auburn

Deep brown and auburn is a classic, go-to combination that offers depth and warmth to your overall look. The two colors complement each other beautifully and create an elegant, subtle gradient of color that's perfect for those who prefer a more natural tone. You can combine dark brown roots with auburn tips to frame your face with light while still keeping the focus on your eyes.

Additionally, this combination flatters all skin tones as it creates a beautiful contrast that looks stunning in any light. It's also low maintenance as it requires minimal upkeep to keep looking its best.

If you're looking for something even bolder, try adding lighter highlights throughout for a sun-kissed look or deep lowlights for some added dimension. You can also experiment by having different areas of the hair darker or lighter depending on how much contrast you want to create.

Deep brown and auburn is the perfect mixture of shades that offers a timeless, sophisticated look.

Blonde and Caramel

If you're looking to add some warmth to your look, blonde and caramel is a great combination. It can be achieved by having your natural color as the base and adding golden highlights throughout for an effortless, sun-kissed look.

The contrast between the two colors creates a subtle yet dimensional effect that looks beautiful in any light. This combination complements all skin tones and is incredibly easy to maintain as it requires minimal touchups to keep looking its best.

To add more depth and dimension to the hair, you can combine shades of blonde and caramel or add even lighter highlights throughout your mane. This will help create a multi-dimensional look with lots of movement that's sure to turn heads!

No matter which combination of colors you choose, finding the perfect shade to complement your look can be easy and fun. Experiment with different combinations, tones, and highlights to find a style that works for you! When done right, you'll have a unique, eye-catching look that will make you stand out from the crowd.
